Game of Thrones Actor Wayne Foskett was born and brought up in Derbyshire where he completed his foundation year at the Art School. He then went to Bournemouth Art College to study photography.
He recalls being fascinated by light as a phenomenon during a slide show lecture at college. In the darkened room a small chink of light from the strong summer sun had allowed a pinhole image of the outside street to be projected onto the ceiling. This began Wayne’s passion for home made cameras and pinhole photography.
Wayne worked as a photographic assistant and photojournalist, prior to training to become an actor.
Today he successfully balances the two occupations. One New Street are very pleased to be presenting ‘Unsung’ an exhibition of pinhole photography with spiritual beauty of the world through the eyes of this extraordinary man.
The exhibition opens 5th May until 2nd June, 10am to 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays with special openings throughout the bank holiday Sundays and Mondays from 11am to 4pm. Otherwise by appointment 07729 374292.
